Catch the Jacksonville Firefighters at the following events:

October 20th-23rd- The Jacksonville Firefighters will unveil their 2006 “Men of Fire” and “Women of Fire” charity calendars. Proceeds from the calendar will benefit the Muscular Dystrophy Association, an organization dedicated to battling neuromuscular diseases in children.

October 28th-30th- The Firefighters take to the streets for their annual “Fill the Boot” drive to benefit the Muscular Dystrophy Association. Firefighters will be at various intersections throughout Jacksonville with their boots held high. Please take a moment to “Fill the Boot.”

October 28th- The Jacksonville Firefighters will on location at the Baseball Grounds of Jax to sell their charity calendars at the Florida/Georgia charity softball game to benefit the Arthritis Foundation of Jacksonville. Game time is 7pm.

November 4th- Come join the Jacksonville Firefighters at their very first Texas Hold Em tournament. Buy in is $150 and proceeds benefit Camp Amigo, a burn camp run by firefighters from Alachua, Tallahassee, and Jacksonville. Start time is noon, however, you will need to be there by 11:30am to sign in.
